In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between the Manufacturing and Research and Development teams, ensuring that best practices are followed during new product deployments. You will continually assess field procedures and tool specifications to optimize performance and effectiveness in real-world applications. Your work will involve frequent travel to field sites, where you will review project information, assist with testing and deployment of new tools, and troubleshoot any mechanical, electrical, or software issues that may arise during tool development. Additionally, you will provide technical support to the sales team and assist in pre-sale site surveys, ensuring that all inspection tools are functioning correctly and efficiently. This position requires a hands-on approach, as you will be involved in the manufacturing and maintenance of inspection tools, as well as addressing IT-related issues to ensure that field personnel's PCs are properly configured for operation. You will also be responsible for testing, monitoring, and tracking tool functions, documenting changes and results, and evaluating tool chemical compatibility.
