About the position

The position involves supporting specific products across a defined territory while providing technical support to both internal and on-site customers. The role requires the preparation of proposals and quotations, applying appropriate pricing strategies, and supporting the sales group in their efforts at strategic accounts. The individual will take sales responsibility for unassigned accounts and develop and maintain relationships with product line vendors. Additionally, the role includes ensuring that seminars, training, and product-related events are executed effectively, supporting marketing efforts, and achieving sales goals as directed by the product line manager. The candidate will be expected to develop product knowledge and understand the competitive market landscape, keeping the sales group informed about new and updated products. Participation in product training classes and manufacturer events, such as distributor meetings and advisory councils, is also a key aspect of the job. The position requires collaboration with Customer Service Representatives to facilitate customer requirements and generate product sales goals in line with the company's business plan.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Technical and analytical mindset.
  • Deep understanding of electrical circuits and programmable software functions.
  • Proficiency in electronic circuit analysis and AutoCAD.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in troubleshooting products deployed in the field by installing contractors.
  • Ability to manage escalation and provide accurate quotes.
  • Experience in engineering and drafting modifications to resolve issues promptly.
