About the position

The Application Engineer will be responsible for engaging with existing textile clients in the southeastern United States, providing support and expertise in machinery and accessories for the weaving, knitting, and finishing sectors. This role focuses on the electrical and electronics aspects of the business unit, requiring significant travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing textile clients throughout the southeast.
• Provide expertise in machinery and accessories for the textile industry.
• Contribute to the electrical and electronics aspects of the business unit.
• Perform electrical preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Operate process controls within a plant.
• Engage in PLC programming.

Requirements

• Experience in the textile industry, specifically in electrical engineering and maintenance of equipment involving electronics.
• Skilled in flexible programming.
• Experience with electrical preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of operating process controls within a plant.
• Experience with PLC programming.
• B.S. Degree in Electrical/Electronics preferred; A.S. degree with related experience acceptable.

Nice-to-haves

• Weaving experience is a plus.
