About the position

As an Application Engineer at Capital Electric, you will support the sales team in driving growth in Automation and Control solutions. This role is designed for emerging professionals eager to learn and contribute to innovative technology solutions, with hands-on training provided by experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Industrial end user accounts, systems integrators, panel builders, and OEM customers
• Keeping up with new product development and relaying the information to the customer
• Helping the Account Manager develop new customer relationships
• Driving Automation and Control growth including PLCs, drives, sensors, HMIs, etc.
• Keeping up with required vendor training including certification level courses
• Conducting customer training on automation & control products
• Attending training as required by Capital Electric
• Performing other duties as required

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably electrical engineering
• Experience with PLCs, Drives, Sensor setups, etc. is preferred
• Customer service background is a plus
