About The Position
The Application Engineer will play a crucial role in the Decatur site, focusing on re-establishing machining processes for a new brass foundry and a new alloy. This position involves programming, setting up, and running parts on lathes, as well as documenting new processes as part of a capability study. The role is high-pressure due to its visibility to the board of directors and the urgency of the project, which aims to increase the number of castings managed from 172 to about 1,000.
