About the position

The Applications Engineer at Compunetix is responsible for the technical management of customer orders and serves as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers. This role involves both presales and post-sales activities, ensuring customer requirements are met through effective communication and project management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct presales activities including technical equipment demonstrations and developing solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Perform site surveys and develop technical content/system drawings for proposals.
• Manage post-sales activities including technical communication with customers as the primary point of contact.
• Enter customer orders and oversee production schedules.
• Coordinate customer acceptance testing and project management activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years of work experience preferred.
• Experience in IT, networking, or electronics hardware design is a plus.
• Ability to travel 30% of the time.
