About the position

The Application Engineer at Schaeffler is responsible for adapting products and systems to meet specific customer needs, assessing customer requirements, and translating these into technical specifications. This role involves technical project management and ensuring that the customer receives optimal solutions through effective product release processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the adaptation of products and systems according to specified customer needs.
• Contribute to the full assessment of customer requirements for application development activities.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and release them after the 4-eyes principle.
• Carry out technical project management.
• Develop applications according to defined and agreed specifications.
• Contribute to the product release externally to ensure optimal customer solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering related field.
• Minimum one (1) year of practical experience.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of product functions and system interactions.
• Good understanding of financial principles.
• Ability to manage projects effectively.
• Excellent presentation skills, including slide preparation and public speaking.
• Extremely self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.

Benefits

• Salary range: $75,000 - $120,000
• Hiring Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days
