About the position

The Integration Engineer will be required to possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of integration products, best practices, and industry trends. This role's primary duties include designing, developing, testing, and implementing application integration solutions and custom application code between business platforms, middleware, and third-party platforms to meet business needs. The Integration Engineer will work closely with other teams to assess and identify probable conflicts and troubleshoot application issues and incidents. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience with integrations across various platforms, ensuring that the integration solutions are robust, scalable, and efficient. This position is critical in ensuring seamless communication between different systems and platforms, which is essential for the overall functionality and success of the business operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application integration solutions between business platforms and third-party platforms.
• Implement custom application code to meet specific business needs.
• Test integration solutions to ensure they function correctly and meet requirements.
• Troubleshoot application issues and incidents in collaboration with other teams.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of integration products and industry trends.
• Create and consume REST APIs, EDI mechanisms, and event-driven messaging.
• Develop and manage an Enterprise Service Bus.

Requirements

• Strong experience working with XML, JSON, Microsoft SQL, and C#.
• 4+ years of software development experience in a Microsoft environment.
• 1+ year of experience with Azure, specifically Azure Service Bus.
• Experience in creating and consuming REST APIs and EDI mechanisms.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or directly related experience.
• Knowledge of BlueCherry, KWI, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus.
• Experience developing queries, views, and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server.
• 2+ years of website development experience, primarily backend development using .Net, PowerShell with C#, and JavaScript.
• 2+ years of experience developing and consuming APIs.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of BlueCherry, KWI, Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
