As an Application Modernization Engineer, you will work with customers to transform existing enterprise applications into modern, cloud-native applications. This transformation aims to reduce time to launch, increase release frequency, and decrease both time to recovery and failure rates. Your role will involve proposing and executing modernization approaches, which include code development, to help customers deploy their applications to the Google Cloud Platform. You will collaborate with customers on application redesign and implementation, focusing on aspects such as application scaling and reliability. Additionally, you will provide guidance on ongoing operations, including application and feature rollouts, monitoring, and more. In this position, you will closely work with Product Management and Product Engineering teams to enhance the quality and performance of our products. As a Google Engineer, you will engage with Google's most strategic Cloud customers, supporting their adoption of Google Cloud products through architecture guidance, best practices, application migration, implementation, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
