About the position

The Application Performance Lab Engineer at KIOXIA America, Inc. is responsible for showcasing the company's SSD products through technical demonstrations and marketing activities. This multifaceted role combines technical expertise with marketing skills, requiring the candidate to engage in server setup, application testing, and the creation of promotional content for trade shows and social media. The position offers an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of KIOXIA's products and technologies while contributing to the company's marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Benchmark SSD performance, analyze test results and determine KIOXIA SSD performance requirements.
• Setup servers and network equipment for testing widely used datacenter and enterprise applications.
• Perform application level testing of storage and document setup and performance for creating Application Briefs and other technical papers.
• Provide exceptional marketing and technical support to external customers and internal cross-functional teams such as product marketing, product planning, product development, customer support, and sales.
• Work with marketing teams to create and present compelling technical marketing collateral which showcases the technology and benefits of KIOXIA SSDs.
• Build and present demonstrations at trade shows and other public events.
• Create demo videos of technical demonstrations for social media promotions.
• Attend and support customer, partner, and industry events.

Requirements

• BA/BS/MS degree in Computer Science, MIS/MSIS, or comparable field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with Powershell, Python, and shell scripting required.
• Familiarity with SSDs and storage-related technologies, including PCIe, NVMe, and NAND Flash memory desirable.
• Willingness to speak at trade show events and on camera for social media.
• Ability to work well autonomously and within diverse teams.
