About The Position

The Application Platform Developer is a key role within the Architecture & Application Platform Development department of the Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) workgroup. This position focuses on configuring, customizing, and extending commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, particularly Oracle EPM applications, while also developing and maintaining data integrations. The developer will provide Tier 3 support, perform complex issue resolution, and contribute to projects involving applications, making them a technical subject matter expert in their field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline (experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
  • 2+ years of experience working with business and technical resources to create requirements and solve problems using Oracle EPM tools.
  • 2+ years of experience configuring, customizing, and extending Oracle EPM applications, including custom Data Form design and writing complex Business Rules.
  • 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining data integrations using Oracle EPM Automate CLI and Microsoft PowerShell.
  • 2+ years of experience designing SQL Server database staging tables and writing/debugging SQL Server views using T-SQL.
  • 2+ years of experience writing and supporting Oracle EPM Automate and Microsoft PowerShell scripts.
  • 2+ years of experience working with EPM Approvals and in Microsoft Windows and Windows Server environments.
  • 2+ years of experience using Git and/or Subversion for source control management.
  • Strong understanding of application deployment concepts and information security concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices and tools.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and workflows related to enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, customize, and extend Oracle EPM applications to meet business requirements.
  • Create and support custom data forms, business rules, and templates for EPM.
  • Develop, maintain, and support Data Exchange data integrations for end user data loads and inter-application data movement.
  • Collaborate with ETS and Data Engineering teams on external source systems for existing and new data integrations.
  • Develop and support SQL Server staging database views and transformations.
  • Implement cloud automations and scheduling using Oracle EPM Automate CLI, Microsoft PowerShell, and Windows Task Scheduler.
  • Develop and maintain EPM Reports and Report Books.
  • Write specifications and test cases to support quality assurance efforts.
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to applications or data integrations.
  • Create and contribute to knowledgebase articles and solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver technical solutions.
