About the position

The Application Programmer V/Oracle PL/SQL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and testing software solutions in collaboration with the development team and business partners. This role requires hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and involves delivering application solutions in an agile environment, ensuring timely and defect-free implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop/modify PL/SQL and SQL Views in Oracle.
• Create new tables and modify existing table structures.
• Perform performance tuning and understand explain plans.
• Engage in normalization, renormalization, and star schema design.
• Develop stored procedures, database triggers, and SQL queries.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Oracle version 11.x and above.
• Proficient in Procedures, Functions, Packages, Views, Materialized Views, Indexes, Triggers, Constraints, Snapshots, Synonyms, Sequences, Database Links, Bulk collect, Forall, ref cursor, partition tables, Analytical functions, collections, and objects.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as SVN or Bitbucket.

• Experience with Informatica and Python.
