About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an Application Programmer for a 12+ month contract position in the financial industry. The role involves developing healthcare payment solutions and collaborating with business partners to gather requirements and design the system. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to work independently while leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of the merchant services Healthcare Payment solutions platform
• Work closely with business partners to develop requirements and document the design
• Collaborate with Tech/Business product owners and architecture team for direction

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in application programming
• Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills
• Ability to design systems with minimal direction
• Excellent analytical and logical skills
• Self-starter with thought leadership
• Ability to partner with technology and business associates
• Strong knowledge of project life cycle, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Azure
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Ruby, Rails, AWS technologies (ECS, SNS, SQS, RDS, Dynamo DB, ElastaCache, S3, EC2, Docker, Postgresql, Redis, REST, SOAP, SAML OAUTH2, Terraform)

Nice-to-haves

• Payments or banking background
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to team environment
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall methodology
• Certified Java, AWS, and Azure Architect
