About the position

The Application Programmer will assist in the development of a Healthcare Payment solutions platform for merchant services within the financial industry. This role involves collaborating with business partners to gather requirements, document designs, and work closely with product owners and architecture teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of the merchant services Healthcare Payment solutions platform
• Work closely with business partners to develop requirements and document the design
• Collaborate with Tech/Business product owners and architecture team for direction

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience
• Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills across varied levels of influence
• Ability to design the system with little direction or guidance
• Excellent analytical and logical skills
• Self-starter with thought leadership
• Ability to partner with both technology and business associates to implement solutions
• Strong knowledge of project life cycle, Java, Spring Boot, AWS and Azure
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Knowledge in Java, Spring Boot, Ruby, Rails, AWS - ECS, SNS, SQS, RDS, Dynamo DB, ElastaCache, S3, EC2, Docker, Postgresql, Redis, REST, SOAP, SAML OAUTH2, Terraform

Nice-to-haves

• Payments or Banking background
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to team environment
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall methodology and understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Ruby tools
• Certified Java, AWS and Azure Architect
