About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an Application Programmer for a 12+ month contract position in the financial industry. The role involves creating data mappings, developing Unix scripts, and performing unit testing, while also providing regular updates to management.

Responsibilities

• Create data mapping to ingest data from disparate data sources ranging from flat files to RDMS, Hive or REST APIs
• Responsible for developing Unix scripting
• Responsible to develop test cases and perform unit testing
• Responsible for providing regular task status update to the management

Requirements

• Technically strong in Informatica Power center
• Technically strong in performance tuning of targets, sources, mappings and SQL queries
• Conceptually good in PL/SQL, Functions, and writing complex SQLs, and creating and exposing views/materialized views
• Strong in UNIX commands and Scripting
• Good in MuleSoft Integration
• Ability to interact and co-ordinate with distributed team

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in MuleSoft tools
• Source control repository - SVN/BitBucket, Continuous Build integration tools (IBM UBuild/Jenkins, IBM UDeploy/Ansible)
• Expert in PL/SQL programming and Database design, with strong data analysis skills
• Self-managed and proactive communicator
• Unix scripts
• Autosys
• Informatica for ETL
• Python programming
• Tableau/reporting experience
• Experience in working with Mulesoft and other API technologies
• Previous experience of working in a data warehouse project
