About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an experienced Application Programmer to work with a client in the financial industry. This role involves hands-on development using JAVA/J2EE technologies and requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies. The position is a contract role lasting over 12 months, with a focus on full life cycle development and integration with external systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using JAVA/J2EE technologies.
• Utilize Spring, Hibernate, and Axis2 for application development.
• Implement front-end technologies such as Angular 5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with authentication methods like OAuth and SAML.
• Engage in SOA, ESB, and JMS messaging concepts.
• Manage database design and SQL, preferably with Oracle.
• Apply design patterns and anti-patterns in enterprise applications.
• Analyze requirements and solve complex problems effectively.
• Utilize web services/APIs for system integration.
• Collaborate in Agile teams using JIRA.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience with JAVA/J2EE technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Spring (DI, Transaction management, AOP) and Hibernate.
• Experience with front-end technologies including Angular 5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with authentication methods such as OAuth and SAML.
• Experience with SOA, ESB, JMS messaging concepts, and XPath expressions.
• Proficient in full life cycle development using GIT, Maven, GitHub, SonarQube, Jenkins, and JIRA.
• Database experience including object design, management, and SQL, with Oracle preferred.
• Expertise in design patterns and anti-patterns for enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
