About the position

The position involves providing integrated guidance across business, product, and technology organizations to implement best practices for software release management. The role focuses on the end-to-end management and deployment of code, ensuring operational support and solutions are effectively executed across multiple complex platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide best practices for software release management, including storage, compilation, testing, packaging, and deployment.
• Consult and engage with Engineering, Operations, and Development teams on operational support and solutions.
• Manage large-scale applications and projects across multiple product lines and businesses.
• Advocate for operational improvements and provide recommendations for advancements.
• Identify emerging industry trends and their implications for the organization.

Requirements

• University or post-graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering).
• 7+ years of relevant experience in software release management.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of Azure.
• Experience with Enterprise DevOps tools such as Cloudbees Jenkins, Atlassian Bitbucket/Jira, Sonatype Nexus Repository, Git/GitHub.
• Experience with Automated Delivery (CI/CD, delivery pipelines, automation, scripting).
• Familiarity with Eclipse (or similar), Ant/Maven deployment.
• Experience leveraging Release Management Methodology.
• Knowledge of SDLC & System Integration.
• Networking/F5 working knowledge.
