About the position

The Application/Sales Engineer will work closely with customers across various industries to select and qualify products according to specific requirements. This role involves technical support for the sales team, documentation review, and continuous improvement initiatives, all aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to select, specify and qualify products to meet industry specifications.
• Write, edit, and review documentation to support design changes based on various technical drawings and schematics.
• Interface with the sales team to provide necessary technical support, including quotes and orders.
• Engage in continuous improvement education and training aligned with company programs.
• Utilize technology to streamline and improve work processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or related engineering discipline is required.
• 2+ years of experience in fabricating, assembly, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Extensive experience with SolidWorks is necessary.
• Skilled in interpreting customer applications to develop P&ID and fluid schematics.
• Ability to learn features and benefits of multiple product families and related manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
