About the position

The Application Sales Engineer at Elgin Separation Solutions is responsible for engaging with customers to understand their technical needs and providing tailored solutions from the company's product portfolio. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation of solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and offer tailored solutions using Elgin's product portfolio.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure solutions meet customer specifications and requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Represent Elgin Separation Solutions at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in technical sales or application engineering (preferably in the separation or filtration industry).
• Strong understanding of solid/liquid separation technologies and applications.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as required.
