About the position

The Application SAP CRM Front End Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining SAP CRM solutions, with a strong emphasis on ABAP development, CRM UI, and integration solutions. This role involves hands-on experience with SAP CRM, S/4HANA concepts, and Fiori technologies, and requires strong programming skills. The developer will work on end-to-end CRM implementation projects, collaborate with teams to enhance CRM applications, and ensure smooth integration with external systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain SAP CRM solutions with a focus on ABAP programming, function modules, and data dictionary objects.
  • Lead the development of CRM UI applications, utilizing BOL/Genil programming and following MVC architecture and One Order framework principles.
  • Work on SAP S/4HANA concepts, including Core Data Services (CDS) Views, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and Fiori Launchpad.
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot ODATA services, web services, and APIs, ensuring seamless integration with external systems like Replix via SAP CPI.
  • Enhance CRM applications by implementing APIs and developing new functionalities to improve system performance and user experience.
  • Utilize Middleware concepts, such as BDOCs and Inbound/Outbound queues, for seamless data replication and integration.
  • Perform code optimization, tracing issues, and performance tuning across CRM applications.
  • Collaborate with teams to manage CRM implementation projects, handling complete project cycles and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Engage in team coordination and leadership, guiding junior developers and ensuring effective project management.
  • Address technical challenges related to Business Rule Framework (BRF) and Business Process Event Management (BPEM), providing expertise on BRF+ concepts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP CRM ABAP development.
  • Proven track record in at least 2 full-cycle SAP CRM implementation projects.
  • Hands-on experience with ODATA services, Fiori concepts, Fiori Launchpad, and web-service troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in S/4HANA concepts, including CDS Views, AMDP, WEBIDE, Table Functions, SADL exits, and Exception Aggregation.
  • Strong understanding of ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) concepts and SAP CRM UI BOL/Genil programming.
  • Experience in Middleware concepts (BDOCs, Inbound/Outbound queues) and MVC architecture.
  • Familiarity with BRF (Business Rule Framework) and experience in performance tuning and issue tracing.
  • Knowledge of BADIs, Actions, Interfaces (Inbound/Outbound), and Proxies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead project teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with BRF+ and BPEM concepts.
  • Background in SAP CPI for API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with Business Master Data and Technical Master Data handling.
  • Prior experience in troubleshooting data replication issues in SAP CRM.
