About the position

The Cyber Security Lead Application Engineer is a key individual contributor responsible for enhancing the security of applications and systems. This role involves collaborating with developers to implement technical solutions that address security vulnerabilities and ensuring that applications meet high security standards throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The engineer will lead efforts in securing code, conducting reviews, and supporting penetration testing, while also working with cross-functional teams to integrate standardized security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to secure code through code reviews and project security reviews.
• Provide support for penetration testing and application scanning throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with the engineering security team to ensure security platforms are designed and implemented with best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Dev, Product, and IT.
• Manage integration with vulnerability check tools such as Static Code Analysis and Dynamic Code Analysis tools.
• Execute standardized security solutions and integrations with cross Business Unit teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
