About the position

The Application Security Engineer role focuses on providing technical support for the Checkmarx and Checkmarx ONE platforms, ensuring the security of applications through effective collaboration with various teams. The position requires a strong background in application security, particularly with Checkmarx, and involves responsibilities such as patching, upgrade testing, and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for Checkmarx and Checkmarx ONE platform.
• Drive vendor accountability to address product defects.
• Support patching and upgrade testing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Application Security Champions, development team members, and offshore partners.
• Ensure documentation is current and reflects process changes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of application security experience with at least 2+ years supporting Checkmarx.
• 2+ years of experience with Agile and Atlassian products such as Jira/Confluence or equivalent.
• Good understanding of OWASP top 10.
• Experience supporting patching/upgrade testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technology integration issues.

Nice-to-haves

• Python scripting experience (3 years).
• Cloud experience (2 years).
• SQL experience (2 years).
