Responsibilities

  • Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across Blue
  • Create new applications that improve how Blue operates
  • Build prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints
  • Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
  • Deep dive into your users' problems to find and create efficient solutions
  • Bring your voice to the table in team collaborations on architecture, design, and code reviews
  • Manage the CostPoint, Coupa and/or ExoStar solutions, including implementing modifications and running deployments
  • Build integrations between CostPoint, Coupa and/or ExoStar and custom applications used across Blue

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience building software
  • Experience in full stack development
  • 2+ years of experience working with CostPoint, Coupa or ExoStar in a professional environment
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice-to-haves

  • Programming experience in Java, Python, or similar object-oriented language
  • Experience with CostPoint, Coupa and/or ExoStar modules
  • 1+ years of rigorous experience building single page web applications
  • Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery concepts
  • Expertise in designing software systems
  • Deep understanding of testing, build, deployment & monitoring
  • Front-end experience in Angular, React, or similar JavaScript framework
  • Database experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar database technologies
