About the position

The Application Software Engineer (ASE) role at Applied Intuition is pivotal in bridging the gap between customers and engineering teams. ASEs are responsible for ensuring customer success through high-priority engagements, leveraging their software expertise and domain knowledge to adapt and extend products for global customers. This role emphasizes collaboration with autonomy developers and the engineering team to maximize the impact of Applied Intuition's products on customer autonomy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers to understand their development needs and use cases for autonomy.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the product roadmap aligns with customer requirements.
• Prioritize customer needs and support them through effective communication with the engineering team.
• Engage with the sales team to gather requirements through technical discussions and workshops.
• Explore new product development areas based on strategic understanding of the customer landscape.

Requirements

• Experience interacting with end-customers as an application engineer or developer.
• Familiarity with best practices in large scale software development.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on solving customer problems.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior background in technical sales or application engineering for simulation products.
• Experience with automotive OEMs or suppliers.
• Prior work in autonomous vehicle development domains.
• Prior work in software simulation.
