About the position

The Application Specialist - Pumps is responsible for troubleshooting, failure analysis, manufacturing, fabrication, design, and repair of pump products to meet and exceed customer expectations. This role involves providing engineering support, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to employees, customers, and suppliers, including training, troubleshooting, failure analysis, manufacturing, fabrication, design, and repair.
• Communicate with employees, customers, and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Maintain positive relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers.
• Resolve warranty issues and provide training as needed.
• Perform all work in accordance with ISO processes and procedures.
• Maintain customer relationships regarding sales and service of pump and pump-related products.
• Exhibit, recruit, and coach associates consistent with Core Behaviors.
• Promote a culture of safety.

Requirements

• Knowledge of pump products, services, and operation.
• Proficient knowledge of basic manufacturing processes.
• Proficient knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of basic OSHA requirements.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of basic sales skills.
• Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to establish priorities and work independently.
