About the position

The Application Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services is responsible for managing application requests from agents and clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient application process. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality. The position is integral to the company's mission of providing exceptional service and fostering professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to new application requests from agents.
• Complete drop ticket submissions and assist clients in completing application interviews.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information.
• Provide frequent status updates on the application acquisition process to clients and agents.
• Utilize internal and external resources to problem solve and take initiative before escalating issues to management.
• Contact assigned clients within 24 hours of case submission and send applications electronically for immediate completion.
• Order exams and preset client exam appointments, explaining exam tips and expectations.
• Follow up directly with clients to retrieve applications and confirm exam completion.
• Utilize vendor websites for drop ticket submissions, exam ordering, and status checking.
• Maintain complete and professional case notes in all required systems.
• Interact professionally with affiliates, partners, and vendors as needed.
• Notify Manager when your queue is more than 24 hours behind.
• Possess problem resolution skills and the ability to multi-task.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service experience, including exceptional verbal phone skills and competent written correspondence ability.
• Ability to learn and use varied online and computer applications.
• Life insurance experience is preferred but not required.
