About the position

The Application Support Engineer role at Robert Half involves ensuring the seamless operation of software and applications, resolving customer issues, and collaborating with a global technical team. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity within the software development industry, focusing on customer support and technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and diagnose customer support queries for varying levels of complexity.
  • Provide effective solutions to customer questions and concerns.
  • Liaise with our global support and technical team to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
  • Document all customer interaction details accurately in our support portal.
  • Develop expertise in our software for efficient problem-solving.
  • Establish and nurture trusting relationships with our clients.
  • Advocate for the customer by documenting development requests and platform enhancements during the project lifecycle.
  • Assist the development team with product testing as required.
  • Promote our resources and products while prioritizing customer needs.
  • Administer application upgrades and ensure their compatibility with existing systems.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Proficient in Microsoft SQL
  • Familiarity with IIS - Internet Information Services
  • Experience in Internet Information Services (IIS) Administration
  • Ability to perform Software Configuration
  • Experience in Software Testing
  • Knowledge of Application administration
  • Experience in Application Support
