About the position

The Application Support Engineer role is focused on providing support and assistance to customers, resolving technical issues, and managing application support tasks. This position requires a foundational understanding of various technologies including Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, Database, and Dell, and emphasizes excellent customer service and timely ticket resolution.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their queries and issues, providing timely and efficient solutions.
• Handle ticket resolution, ensuring all tickets are addressed and resolved within the stipulated time.
• Utilize a basic understanding of application support to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Work with technologies such as Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, Database, and Dell to provide support and solutions.
• Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring all customer interactions are handled professionally and effectively.
• Work with Active Directory and Backup Technologies to manage and support customer applications.
• Leverage skills in Configuration Management to ensure the smooth running of applications.
• Utilize knowledge of Computer Hardware to assist in resolving any hardware related issues.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge in order to provide the best support possible.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure all customer needs are met and issues are resolved.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required
• Experience with Citrix Technologies is expected
• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies is essential
• Strong understanding of Database management
• Proficiency in Dell Technologies is required
• Active Directory skills are necessary
• Experience with Backup Technologies is expected
• Knowledge of Computer Hardware is essential
• Proficiency in Configuration Management is required
• Excellent Customer Service skills are necessary
