As an Application Support Engineer at Siemens Industry Software Inc., you will play a crucial role in interfacing with top-level customer engineers and managers to develop or enhance complex computer-aided engineering design or manufacturing processes tailored to customer needs. This position requires you to utilize advanced computer-aided systems to assist and instruct lead customer engineers on large-scale, complex design and tooling tasks that span multiple design environments. You will be responsible for communicating software problems to product development teams and assisting other engineers in the design, development, and implementation of large-scale graphical application programs across various software products and hardware platforms. In this role, you will provide valuable business and technical feedback to software and hardware vendors, ensuring that the solutions provided meet the high standards expected by our customers. You will also employ advanced data exchange methodologies to facilitate effective data sharing between dissimilar systems or applications that span across different engineering disciplines. Your technical guidance will be essential for lead customer engineers as they apply complex design techniques and system procedures related to computer-aided engineering software. Additionally, you will prepare in-depth technical papers and presentations for customer management and guide junior engineers in their development. This position is remote, with the possibility of telecommuting in accordance with company policies. However, it does require 5% domestic travel to various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S.
