About the position

The Application Support Engineer will provide technical support for manufacturing processes and products, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and customers to resolve issues and improve processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the success of products through effective problem-solving and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective technical support to internal and external customers, including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving problems.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of product documentation, including user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and successful product launches.
• Leverage SolidWorks skills to create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings to support product development and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in technical roles within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
