About the position

The Application Support Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and supporting GIS data requirements, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of GIO validation data, and maintaining various map data. This position is based in Huntington Park, California, and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Handle GIS data requirements with a focus on Azure
• Validate GIO data to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Maintain and update map data as required
• Manage street center lines and common place data
• Monitor points of interest and municipal data
• Determine zone area and response boundaries
• Utilize Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, and Dell technologies to support applications
• Implement firewall technologies and backup technologies to safeguard data
• Maintain computer hardware and configuration management for optimal performance
• Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer inquiries and issues efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Application Support Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
• Knowledge and experience working with Citrix Technologies
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies
• Experience with Dell Technologies
• Strong background in Firewall Technologies
• Proficiency in Active Directory
• Mastery of Backup Technologies
• Strong understanding of Computer Hardware
• Experience in Configuration Management
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
