About the position

The Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to court staff, including judges and judicial personnel, by resolving technological issues and ensuring the effective use of various court-specific applications and technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of the MiFILE application and other related systems, as well as the ability to interface with the IT team for more complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve technological issues for court staff.
  • Learn and support the MiFILE application and other court-specific technologies.
  • Assist users in their day-to-day use of systems, including audio visual and recording equipment.
  • Interface with the IT team on incidents and problems requiring higher-level technical support.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of JAVS and BIS systems.
  • Ability to learn new applications quickly.
