About the position

The Application Support Specialist is responsible for learning and supporting the MiFILE application and other court-specific technologies, including audio visual and recording equipment. This role aims to assist business users and the public in their daily use of these systems while interfacing with the County IT team for higher-level technical support on incidents and problems.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the MiFILE application and other court-specific technologies.
  • Support business users and the public in their day-to-day use of systems.
  • Interface with County IT team on incidents and problems requiring higher-level technical support.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in application support, preferably in a legal or judicial environment.
  • Familiarity with MiFILE and court-specific technologies (audio/visual, recording equipment).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work with County IT for advanced issue resolution and support end-users effectively.
