About the position

The Application Support Specialist at OpTech is responsible for responding to and resolving technological issues faced by court staff, including judges and judicial personnel. This role involves learning and supporting the MiFILE application and other court-specific technologies, including audio-visual and recording equipment, to assist business users and the public in their daily operations. The specialist will also interface with the County IT team for incidents requiring higher-level technical support.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve technological issues for court staff, including judges and judicial staff.
  • Learn and support the MiFILE application and other court-specific technologies.
  • Assist business users and the public in their day-to-day use of systems.
  • Interface with the County IT team on incidents and problems requiring higher-level technical support.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in application support or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, JAVS, BIS, and MiFile.
