About the position
The Application Support Technician at Integrity Marketing Group is responsible for ensuring that critical business applications and processes operate effectively and efficiently. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to support both IT and business staff in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The technician will troubleshoot production jobs, manage automated workflows, and assist with application setup and configuration, all while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and configuration of environments and other application tasks.
- Facilitate and troubleshoot daily production jobs and automated workflows.
- Support correspondence and print daily jobs; manage administrative system batch processing.
- Provide administrative support with automated workflow distribution tools and other third-party tools as needed.
- Manage multiple open items in an interrupt-driven environment, often under time-sensitive conditions.
- Communicate effectively with clients in both written and verbal formats to provide prompt responses.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of work experience in an IT Application Support role.
- Understanding of basic network, application, and workflow troubleshooting in a modern IT environment.
- Experience with SQL Server and ability to read and manipulate data files such as XML, JSON, and flat files.
- Working knowledge of ActiveBatch or similar scheduling packages.
- Basic understanding of automated workflow processes.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
- Understanding of insurance, specifically Medicare Supplement.
