About the position

The L2 Support Engineer for Front Office in Banking/Investment Banking is responsible for providing application support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. This role requires a strong technical background in programming and debugging, along with excellent communication skills to interact with users and stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in applications.
  • Optimize systems for performance and scalability.
  • Manage incidents and escalate issues to L3 support.
  • Collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.
  • Document incidents and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4-10 years of experience in L2/L3 application support.
  • Background in banking or financial services.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python.
  • Strong debugging skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems.
  • Understanding of SQL and database concepts.
