About the position

The position involves performing extensive sample testing in a lab environment, creating applications with detailed reports, and conducting technical demonstrations for customers related to test and inspection equipment. The role requires a strong understanding of cutting-edge SMT, FATP, and wafer inspection equipment, and involves providing advanced application training and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform extensive sample testing in a lab environment.
• Create applications with detailed reports.
• Conduct technical demonstrations for customers regarding test and inspection equipment.
• Provide advanced application training at customer sites or internal labs.
• Offer applications support for customers in challenging cases.
• Communicate and resolve issues to ensure successful customer sign-off.
• Serve as a liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Demonstrate and explain equipment capabilities to potential customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 2 - 4 years of relative experience in engineering principles and practices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SMT, FATP, and wafer assembly/inspection.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with wafer inspection equipment.
• Proficiency in technical writing and verbal communication.
