About the position
The Fixed-Term Benefited Application Systems Analyst position at Peoria's Information Technology Department involves providing high-level support for the City's enterprise applications and systems. Responsibilities
- Support web, database, and workgroup applications.
- Install and upgrade application systems.
- Apply updates and enhancements to existing systems.
- Identify and evaluate technical needs for applications.
- Facilitate implementations of new systems and applications.
- Work collaboratively with users, departments, and vendors.
- Conduct research to support application needs.
- Support reporting and data needs for the organization.
Requirements
- Four-year bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in systems analysis or design, testing, and implementation of computer-based information systems.
- Experience with SQL, HTML, mobile application development, and database integration.
- ITIL certification within 6 months of hire.
Nice-to-haves
