About the position

The Application Systems Analyst is responsible for the implementation, enhancement, and support of business, clinical, or financial applications within the organization. This role requires a strong focus on customer service and the ability to work independently while adhering to departmental processes, particularly in change control and issue/request tracking. The analyst will provide ongoing telephone support for end users and collaborate with the Application Manager as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and enhance business, clinical, or financial applications.
  • Provide ongoing support for applications deployed throughout the system.
  • Follow standard departmental processes, especially change control.
  • Utilize the issue/request tracking system effectively.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills in providing telephone support for end users.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
  • Experience with Oracle and/or Cerner applications.
