As an Application Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assisting our Application & Database Administrator in managing our enterprise applications, particularly Yardi. You will be responsible for providing end-user support to all team members, which includes troubleshooting issues, generating accurate queries, and building reports that support our business operations. In this role, you will utilize your SQL skills to assist in efficient data fixes, develop impactful reports, and create workflows that drive operational efficiency. You will provide IT applications support to end users by prioritizing and managing support requests through our Zendesk ticketing system, Teams, or phone, ensuring that issues are handled in a timely and efficient manner. Collaboration with the Application & Database Administrator will be key as you review issues and implement necessary configuration or process changes. You will also assist with special projects aimed at building and maintaining long-term relationships with our residents, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and EPA laws, and applying critical thinking to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Starting pay is $28 per hour, with potential for more based on experience. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Application & Database Administrator in managing enterprise applications, including Yardi.
  • Provide end-user support to all team members, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Utilize SQL skills to assist in data fixes, report development, and workflow creation.
  • Manage support requests through the Zendesk ticketing system, Teams, or phone.
  • Collaborate with the Application & Database Administrator to review issues and implement changes.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and role-based security permissions.
  • Assist with special projects to build and maintain relationships with residents.
  • Apply critical thinking to bridge business needs and technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Programming, Software Engineering, or a related subject is required.
  • Minimum two years of experience with Yardi Property Management software or similar enterprise business software with relational databases (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP).
  • Minimum two years of experience with Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with additional enterprise business software beyond Yardi.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing and EPA laws and regulations.
