Excede, its powerful DMS, leverages the strength of Microsoft® SQL technology to provide advanced Windows® and browser-based applications with real-time information. We are seeking a motivated Application Systems Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expertise and support primarily for new client implementations, acting as a liaison between Procede Software and client leads to ensure proper guidance on the setup and use of our proprietary software. The consultant will act as a technical expert in the features and functionality of Excede, strategically implementing Excede for clients while following Procede Software standards, industry best practices, and by analyzing clients' requirements. The primary job responsibilities include consulting with client leadership to understand their business requirements throughout the implementation process, analyzing Excede system capabilities, and comparing them to the client's needs to define objectives. The consultant will also analyze the client's legacy data and develop technical recommendations on how data should be transferred for use in Excede. Utilizing SQL to expedite database setups and configurations is essential, as is designing test cases for clients based on system setup and workflow. The consultant will modify setups for clients and educate them on future modifications they will do themselves, ensuring that implementation tasks are met and resolving project issues while keeping management and clients informed of progress. Additionally, the consultant will collaborate directly with various departments to implement customer solutions, assist with basic setup, troubleshooting, and workflow-related implementation tasks, and may also be called upon to deliver product demonstrations and present material during conferences or events. This role requires strong organizational, time management, and project management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions based on sound judgment. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and a strong affinity for technology to keep personal IT skills and knowledge up to date.
