About the position

The Application Systems Engineer will collaborate with a team to build, maintain, and support production systems, including custom applications, ERP, and data collection systems. This role involves working with staff across multiple affiliate companies to understand and streamline business processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uninterrupted service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support production systems including custom applications and ERP systems.
• Collaborate with staff at multiple affiliate companies to understand business processes.
• Streamline and troubleshoot systems to ensure no disruption to customers.
• Support the company ERP system consisting of IFS/Radley iCARaS/Radley Data Collection.
• Administer, maintain, and support SQL and Oracle databases.

Requirements

• Minimum of Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Programming.
• 5-10 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience in administration, maintenance, and support of SQL and Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in report writers, business intelligence software, and programming languages such as Python, PL/SQL, and Visual Basic.
• Experience with robotics and auto-guided vehicles in a data collection/manufacturing process.

Nice-to-haves

• Leadership experience or training, or a desire to move into a leadership role.
• Familiarity with EDI, Trading Partners, and barcode technology and standards.
• Experience with applications on Windows and SQL Server.
