As an Application Systems Engineer you will be responsible for administering and configuring authentication flows and a variety of other mission critical experiences on various technology platforms for our users.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and leadership to provide excellent customer and peer experiences on technologies you help support.
• Create templates and components within various third-party solutions/platforms and implement to accomplish business objectives.
• Create solutions, reporting, experiences and/or automation leveraging various technologies. (e.g., JSON, JavaScript)
• Adhere to ITSM best practices (e.g., Change, Incident, Knowledge, etc.)
• Document, demo and showcase features to stakeholders and/or customers.
• Document business process, application, and data flows.
• Research, analyze and recommend technology configuration, functionality, and administration solutions for our various digital solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and methodologies.
• Define and participate in SDLC activities.
• Document applications, perform security assessments/reviews, define and participate in user governance and administration.
• Stay current on industry and development latest trends and technologies.
• Experience with public, private, and/or hybrid cloud implementations.
• Understanding of OATH2 authentication flows a plus.
• ServiceNow, or similar system administration experience a plus.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with JSON, YAML or other popular data exchange format.
• 6+ years of experience administering applications (e.g., incident response, change requests, user administration, configuration, etc.).
• Effective communication and documentation skills (e.g., BPMN).
• Working knowledge of GitHub.
• Candidates with in depth understanding of authentication best practices is preferred.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
