At The Standard, we are seeking an experienced System Support Manager to lead and oversee our application system support functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service through effective management of our business system analysts (BSA) and the diverse set of vendor-hosted systems we utilize. As a System Support Manager, you will be responsible for streamlining processes, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring seamless delivery of application services across various departments. You will provide subject matter expertise and leadership to a team of BSAs, guiding them in their work with both in-house and third-party vendor application support to meet the varying needs of our organization. In this role, you will project manage the work of internal BSAs as well as third-party vendors, ensuring that deliverables, timelines, budgets, and scopes are met. You will perform root cause analysis for issues with applications and deliverables, creating, enhancing, and visualizing team roadmaps, planning, and capacity plans. Regular reporting on team and system performance will also be a key responsibility, allowing for continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals. Your leadership will be essential in driving best practices of application automation across the organization, ensuring that we remain agile and responsive to the needs of our business and our customers.
