About the position

The Applications Analyst for Electronic Health Record (EHR) is responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, and providing technical support and training for the EHR system. This role involves mastering the functionalities of electronic medical records, particularly eClinicalWorks (eCW), and serving as the primary support for application needs, helping clinicians optimize their use of the system. The analyst will also lead training initiatives, evaluate changes in the EHR, and work collaboratively with a dedicated team to enhance healthcare technology support.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, maintain, and provide technical support for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Master the functionalities of eClinicalWorks (eCW) and other applications.
  • Serve as the primary support for EHR application needs and assist clinicians in optimizing applications.
  • Help teams improve efficiency and effectiveness through workflow redesign.
  • Develop and lead application training sessions and create training materials for users.
  • Evaluate and analyze changes and new functionalities for the EHR.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience in clinical applications support in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to work in Auburn & Grass Valley, with occasional after-hours work.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is preferred.
