About the position

The IT Applications Analyst III position at Endeavor Health is a full-time role focused on providing technical support and project management for enterprise applications. The analyst acts as a liaison between customers, IT teams, and vendors, ensuring that IT application systems function optimally and meet business needs. This role involves leading software development lifecycle phases, participating in process improvement initiatives, and providing on-call support as required.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a liaison between customers, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Collaborates with functional and technical stakeholders at various levels.
  • Leads and participates in meetings with stakeholders.
  • Serves as an expert technical resource to address and resolve business problems.
  • Works with functional teams to inform and educate them on new processes and enhancements.
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives and measurement.
  • Leads or participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Identifies business needs and designs, builds, implements, documents, and trains on business solutions.
  • Ensures all IT application systems function optimally and comply with business needs and regulations.
  • Uses methodologies to troubleshoot functional, performance, connectivity, integration, security, or utilization issues.
  • Documents incidents, requests, projects, and change control procedures.
  • Writes and controls essential project documents such as requirements and test plans.
  • Advises management of potential problems and suggestions for improvements.
  • Provides on-call support as required.
  • Leads or participates in project plan development and execution.
  • Provides updates on project status and ensures projects are on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with three years previous experience in IT or relevant business area, or a minimum of seven years of relevant IT experience.
  • Experience implementing or supporting enterprise applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced knowledge in supporting corporate applications such as symplr Workforce or other time/attendance/scheduling solutions.
  • Experience or certification in project management, Agile, Scrum, and ITIL.
  • Healthcare technology experience is helpful but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Windows desktop and server OS, databases, scripting, SFTP.
  • Advanced MS Excel and/or SQL is helpful but not required.
