The Applications Analyst at Monument Health plays a crucial role in providing technical and organizational leadership for assigned applications. This position involves analyzing problems and user requirements, programming and documenting solutions, and offering support to computer users throughout the organization. The Applications Analyst is expected to maintain highly reliable IT systems by documenting processes and activities appropriately. This includes providing required elements to Call Tracking, Project Management, Change Management, and Disaster Recovery Services Guides. The role also requires providing support to the organization, division, and peers, which includes day-to-day peer-level support, emergent after-hours support, and any necessary support to maintain system reliability. In addition to support functions, the Applications Analyst is responsible for analyzing, reviewing, monitoring, or modifying computer systems to ensure functionality, increase operating efficiency, and adapt to new requirements. This involves assessing the needs and requirements of end-users to maximize application functionality that complements or improves workflows. The analyst will coordinate and communicate with end-users, vendors, and other staff on application design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation to ensure proper system configuration and alignment with defined business needs. The position also entails developing or assisting with the development of application-specific training curriculums and materials, providing training to staff as needed. Maintaining awareness of security policies and procedures is essential to ensure appropriate physical access, system access, and data integrity. The Applications Analyst will manage and coordinate activities associated with the development and implementation of computer/information systems, including new implementations and system updates. Additionally, the role includes providing end-user support by responding to software application problems in a timely manner, reviewing and resolving issues within target dates, and developing or performing unit, system, and integrated testing tasks. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
