About the position
The SAP CAR Application Analyst at Bath & Body Works is responsible for designing and building solutions on the SAP CAR platform, working closely with business and IT teams. This role involves implementing SAP S/4 to replace SAP ECC, rolling out a new point of sale application, and replacing the Order Management System for digital orders. The analyst will apply project management expertise to enhance efficiency and optimize costs while ensuring the integrity of the overall solution. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, requiring collaboration across various teams.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a strong call to action and proactively addresses challenges to achieve high-quality solutions.
- Exhibits curiosity and a desire to learn, building subject matter expertise in SAP CAR.
- Partners with external consultants and cross-functional teams to support new POS project implementation and SAP S/4 implementation.
- Understands SAP CAR's role within the larger technology landscape at Bath & Body Works.
- Navigates change by understanding impacts to SAP CAR and its integrations with other systems.
- Responsible for the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation.
- Designs, configures, tests, debugs, and documents software solutions in collaboration with product development teams.
- Authors documentation such as techno-functional specifications to support projects.
- Develops, prototypes, tests, and implements solution improvements for stability and usability.
- Researches and analyzes complex issues surrounding business processes and technology.
- Identifies enhancement opportunities to improve processes and system configuration.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience required
- 1-3 years of SAP CAR experience in either functional or technical role required
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated capability of preparing and communicating key messages to senior leaders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
