About the position

The Applications Architect at Delmock Technologies, Inc. (DTI) is responsible for architecting advanced technology solutions that drive digital transformation in mission-critical services. This role involves collaborating with both business and technical teams to ensure that systems meet business requirements, performance, and security standards, while utilizing technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, and multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Offers technical guidance to stakeholders on project implementation and manages major projects involving professional support services and complex system integration.
• Leads the design and development of e-government solutions, infrastructure, and backend applications.
• Defines Commission architecture blueprints, specializing in web servers, gateways, and application servers.
• Proficient in web application technologies and middleware solutions.
• Researches and evaluates new technologies for business improvement.
• Ensures technical alignment with enterprise architecture, sets best practices, conducts code reviews, and identifies performance issues early for resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Extensive experience in developing large scale applications in fourth generation programming languages.
• Experience in defining application roadmap to ensure the maintenance of state-of-the-art systems.
• Experience defining technical best practices for application implementation and providing high level architecture/design documents.
• Experience working with different stakeholders to understand and document the software system needs.
• Experience in managing medium to large-scale sites and managing at least five Internet projects.
• Experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT application systems, having led work as an architect in a major IT applications implementation effort.
• Proficient in the use of major enterprise architecture software systems.
• Advanced knowledge of web servers and databases.
• Ability to develop and lead the implementation of solutions to identified software problems.
• Ability to compare various solutions and determine the most suitable.

• Experience with utilities applications.
• Experience with AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, ServiceNow, PowerBI, FileNet, Oracle Utilities Suite, and Multi-cloud environments.
