About the position

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Application Architect to join our team and leverage advanced technologies to drive transformation in mission-critical services. This role involves architecting solutions that incorporate AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, and multi-cloud environments, while collaborating with both business and technical teams to ensure systems meet business requirements, performance, and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Offers technical guidance to stakeholders on project implementation and manages major projects involving professional support services and complex system integration.
• Leads the design and development of e-government solutions, infrastructure, and backend applications.
• Defines Commission architecture blueprints, specializing in web servers, gateways, and application servers.
• Proficient in web application technologies and middleware solutions.
• Researches and evaluates new technologies for business improvement.
• Ensures technical alignment with enterprise architecture, sets best practices, conducts code reviews, and identifies performance issues early for resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Extensive experience in developing large scale applications in fourth generation programming languages.
• Experience in defining application roadmap to ensure the maintenance of state-of-the-art systems.
• Experience defining technical best practices for application implementation and providing high level architecture/design documents.
• Experience working with different stakeholders to understand and document the software system needs.
• Experience in managing medium to large-scale sites and managing at least five Internet projects.
• Experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT application systems, and leading work as an architect in a major IT applications implementation effort.
• Proficient in the use of major enterprise architecture software systems.
• Advanced knowledge of web servers and databases.
• Ability to develop and lead the implementation of solutions to identified software problems.
• Ability to compare various solutions and determine the most suitable.
